A high school dance teacher is accused of having sex with students, some elementary school age, and recording it in over 200 sex tapes.
Authorities have 34-year-old Marco Alferez in custody on charges of sexual exploitation of minors and possessing child pornography.
Federal authorities say they found more than 200 videos of the Irwin High School teacher having sex with children and arrested him September 21 after they traced his computer's IP address to the sharing of three videos containing child pornography.
According to the EL Paso Times, ICE agent Gilbert Campa testified during Alvarez's bond hearing that he found 12 VHS tapes, each approximately four to six hours long, and 107 8-mm tapes of Alferez having sex with children.
Campa also claimed Alferez confessed to making the videos of himself with children and made remarks that "his life was over.”
He has been placed on administrative leave.
