Jay-Z took some time from his busy recording schedule to discuss his upcoming collaboration project Watch the Throne.
In an interview with Tim Westwood, Jay-Z states that the chemistry with Kanye West was so great, that the two have already recorded a plethora of material.
“The chemistry between the two of us is crazy,” Jay said. “We have already recorded a lot of tracks, the vibe and everything is just brilliant.”
Sparing no extravagance for the 10-track project, Jay states that the duo has opted to change the way they record tracks.
“We are really just having a ball,” Jay continued. “We are sitting at this big table surrounded by producers and everyone is just vibing. We have a chef and eating in this extravagant dining room. It's crazy. We don't even record in a booth, we have started recording in a control room so that everyone can see how we interact.”
