It's all about the concept for Cashflow Records, who this week released their 'Good Friends' rhythm.

Focusing on rhythms with lyrical themes, Cashflow looks at friendship through artistes G-Whizz, Konshens, Wayne Marshall, T.O.K and Vybz Kartel.

THE STAR recently caught up with Paul 'DJ Neil' Mitchell' of Cashflow, who spoke about the rhythm saying, "Cashflow we always go by a concept when we're doing a rhythm, from 'Better Life' to now. This one, G Whizz got the rhythm first and came up with the concept. we then gave it to Konshens who came up with his song, as did everyone else."

Prior to 'Good Friends', Cashflow released their ganja- themed rhythm 'Orange Hill' with I-Octane's Puff It. 'Good Friends' was released unofficially this week to radio jocks, but according to Dj Neil, it will soon hit itunes. The concept for 'Good Friends' rhythm is about different aspects of friendship. G Whizz kicks the rhythm off with In Loving Memories, which speaks about losing friends and knowing their value before they are gone. In the song he sings, "Tell mi, have you ever lost a friend? An' every day yuh hope and pray dat fren will come back to life again."

'fake friends'

Konshens recently did a video for his song on the rhythm Realest Medz as he speaks about knowing who his friends are among all the 'fake friends'. He deejays, "mi know whole heap of people, but mi nuh got a lot of friends."

Wayne Marshall in My Friend talks about being behind his friends all the time as his friends are there for him "all throughout the year". T.O.K's Friend For Life speaks about the old friends who were there before the fame. Kartel's song on the rhythm is yet to be released.

Next out from Cashflow is another themed rhythm called the 'Employer' with the likes of I-Octane, Elephant Man, Andrew and Wada Blood, Laden, Flexxx among others. Currently out, Cashflow has singles such as No Love Inna Dem from I-Octane.
